F-Zero GP Legend
The Astro Robin is the machine driven by the lemon-haired pop star, Jack Levin. Being the huge media icon that he is, Jack had this machine personally built by Team Lightning Bolt, an equally famous machine manufacturer with decades of experience in the field. The overall design for this machine leaned towards both reliable durability and control, something of a safety-padding given Jack was new to this sport at the time, but mostly due to the fact that he wished for a machine that matched his personality both in appearance and performance. In order to boost his already-inflated ego and fanbase even further, Jack had Team Lightning Bolt install many small cameras inside of the Astro Robin's cockpit for the purpose of capturing every possible side and angle of his profile during live-broadcasted races.
 F-Zero X
In the second console-based installment of the F-Zero franchise, the Astro Robin was introduced among the wide array of 25 fellow new machines. Despite boasting an overly-admirable amount of control on tight corners and turns as well as a matching set of fortified body armour, this machine greatly lacks in regards to the overall effect that boost power stirs while on the track. Much to Jack's fortune though, this outstanding con is easily overlooked when the Astro Robin's marvelous acceleration comes into play!
 F-Zero GX
In the most recent console-based installment of this series, Jack Levin's Astro Robin returned with the same memorable amount of control in even the twistiest courses which made it a solid fan-favourite to begin with, but it's lackluster boost power unfortunately followed it over a console generation. And to make matters worse, it would appear that the Astro Robin's above-average acceleration won't show up as a saving grace this time.
 F-Zero Climax
In the most recent portable console-based title, the Astro Robin soared high with an excellent top-speed rating and a top-level amount of handling to effectively carry out this effect to the player's advantage. While the drastic slouch in overall boost ability can be a bit of a letdown, the existent pros always end up overshadowing the cons.
