F-Zero GP Legend
The Death Anchor is the machine driven by the deranged super-criminal: Zoda. This vehicle started out as a special military missile that was designed and to be used by the Galactic Space Federation as the ultimate weapon, due to both it's immense size and battle capabilities. It was stolen by Zoda and his crew one day in an attempt to bring the Federation to their knees once they discovered what king of power he wielded, but later found that the F-Zero races would provide a much better outlet to spread mayhem over a longer period of time rather than end it in one shot. Thus, Zoda had the secret society known as "Deathriddle"put their best mechanics to work on fashioning this super weapon into an illegally-modded F-Zero machine. As a safety application, the Federation had a self-destruct function installed into their ballistic missile in preparation for a worst-case-scenario, a fact that is unbenownst to Zoda at this time.
 F-Zero X
In the second console-based installment of the F-Zero franchise, the Death Anchor was introduced among the wide array of 25 fellow new machines. Unlike the King Meteor and Queen Meteor, which both rely on reasonable speed and control to compensate for their low body stats, the Death Anchor is completely dependant on it's over-the-top boost power to make up for it's 'E'-ranked amount of body strength. Due to it's slim design, any familiar racer can easily weave through the chunkier opposition when putting these speed applications into play.
 F-Zero GX
In the most recent console-based installment of this series, Zoda's Death Anchor returns with the same sleek design and overdoses of speed that it's regarded for. It's poorly-graded body strength appears to have improved somewhat, which also hasn't apparently hindered it's amazing speed capabilities one bit. Since it's control has something to be desired, both practicing with these machine and particular courses must be taken in order to harness this vehicle's pros to their fullest.
 F-Zero Climax
In the most recent portable console-based title, the Death Anchor eviscerates all with a blinding amount of boost power that can even leave lighter machines in the dust if they let their guard down! While it's faults remain to be it's nonexistent amount of damage resistance and shaky handling, the Death Anchors thin shape and top speed can see even a rookie through with enough determination!
