F-Zero GP Legend
The Deep Claw is the machine driven by the multi-limbed parent: Octoman. It was originally built on the planet of Takora but it is undetermined who originally took up the task. Due to the civilization's overall lagging technological advances, constructing a superior F-Zero machine with above average stats was a difficult feat to undergo. But after an abandoned machine with minimal wear and use was found by this planet's racing commitee, it was slightly modified with a brand new cockpit, new set of basic body armour, and a brand new paint job sporting the planet's official colours of representation. Since it's stats are each fairly balanced and/or slightly below-average, any new pilot can handle this machine with ease.
 F-Zero X
In the second console-based installment of the F-Zero franchise, the Deep Claw was introduced among the wide array of 25 fellow new machines. It is very well-balanced in terms of both it's body strength and boost power, which remain at 'B'. But in terms of overall grip control, it's sadly below-average at a 'C'. It's wider chasis has been found to be very useful in butting lighter opponents out of the way.
 F-Zero GX
In the most recent console-based installment of this series, Octoman's Deep Claw returns with the same mellow stats that it was originally introduced with, having both a medium-ranked amount of speed and protective armour, but some practice must be taken in order to overcome this machine's lackluster handling capability.
 F-Zero Climax
In the most recent portable console-based title, the Deep Claw stretches it's limbs with a refreshing and modest performance potential. Where it's cornering ability falls, it is redeemed by it's well-spread acceleration and trauma-resistant body shell.
