Dr. Clash as he appeared in F-Zero GX
|First Appeared||F-Zero X|
|Later Appeared|| F-Zero GX|
F-Zero Legend of Falcon
Dr. Theodore Clash is a brilliant scientist and mechanic who has designed F-Zero machines his whole life as well as invent several components of technology which go into the construction of these highly-advanced cars. Since he doesn't thrive in the overall physical sense, he designed a pair of handy mechanical arms to perform all of the strenuous work for him during his various experiments and tinkerings. Being among the world of F-Zero all of his life yet never truly getting a taste of it eventually pushed Clash to finally enter the Grand Prix circuit himself by way of the Crazy Bear, a prototype machine that he had been working on and perfecting for several years up to that point. With his vast intelligence and mechanical arms taking the helm, Dr. Clash is an unlikely yet perfectly capable contender in the many strenuous yet exhilarating races to come.
 F-Zero X
In the second console-based installment of the F-Zero franchise, Dr. Clash made his first appearance as a greasy, jolly mechanic with a love for F-Zero and all that goes into it which could even rival the likes of Draq. His hair was considerably longer in this installment as compared to future ones, apparently nodding to a grungy point in the 80s era.
 F-Zero GX
In the most recent console-based title, Dr. Clash returns with a messily-shaved head and a noticably nerdier attitude, carrying more of a slight "mad scientist" persona rather than a humble tech expert. His machine, the Crazy Bear, also lost it's prominent animal eye decals that were present in F-Zero X. It's also revealed that Clash works part-time as a bartender in Mute City in the cutscene shown before StoryMode's Mission 3.
 F-Zero Climax
Due to the lack of an actual storyline, besides being based off of the finale to F-Zero Falcon Legend(character-wise), Dr. Clash bounces back with a challenging yet reasonable grip and added body strength at the cost of a faster boost.
 F-Zero Legend of Falcon
In the anime adaptation, Dr. Clash is a long-time working mechanic and tech specialist in the Elite Mobile Task Force. He comes off as a strong and jolly old man with a noticable respect towards Rick Wheeler and his racing abilities. He is often seen in the garage of the Task Force's headquarters working on the machines of other members' or his own. A featured character, Lucy Liberty, becomes Clash's apprentice after she is introduced in one episode.
