Dr. Stewart as he appeared in F-Zero GX
|Name||Robert Stewart(AKA "Dr. Stewart")|
|Later Appeared|| F-Zero X|
F-Zero Legend of Falcon
Dr. Stewart is a brilliant medical physicion who is also a natural at mechanics. He entered this prestigious occupation by way of his father, Kevin Stewart, who had participated in illegal underground races his whole life before he eventually went straight and entered the F-Zero. This caused Robert to look up to his father with great pride and aspire to be a racer as well, but his father deterred these dreams, insisting racing was far too dangerous a sport and urged him to take up a medical profession. After Kevin Stewart's undetermined and untimely death, Robert decided to fix up his father's original machine, the Golden Fox, and finally enter the F-Zero Grand Prix circuit.
 F-Zero SNES
In the very first installment in which Dr. Stewart officially appeared, the only physical appearances he made were on print, such as promotional posters for the game, the back of the official game box, the instruction manual written for the game, as well as a bonus comic included with the game. It was in his first appearance that Stewart came off as rather pompous and self-absorbed.
 F-Zero X
In the second console-based installment of the F-Zero franchise, Dr. Stewart started to ease into a more collected and modest attitude that came with his lifelong occupation as a surgeon, even though his uppercrust behaviour still lingered.
 F-Zero GX
In the most recent console-based title, Dr. Stewart was much more subtle and fiercely focused in terms of his character, racing more or less for the sake of his medical research in terms of studying typical racing patterns and spotting common mistakes executed by pilots in order to prepare himself and his medical knowledge, should the need come.
 F-Zero Climax
Due to the lack of an actual storyline, besides being based off of the finale to F-Zero Falcon Legend(character-wise), Dr. Stewart's is an overall speed-based character, with a substantial amount of handling ability stripped away as a result.
 F-Zero Legend of Falcon
The solid, respectable maturity of Dr. Stewart simply grew as he was adapted into the anime, F-Zero Falcon Legend. In the show, he is still a highly-trained surgeon on and off the race track, only he works for and under the Elite Mobile Task Force. It's hinted in certain episodes that he knows a fair deal about Captain Falcon.
